April Updates!
As you may already know, April 24th is the release date for Ubuntu 8.04! We've got a lot of stuff to do before then!
I want to put up some flyers around campus, letting people know about the release with our group address as well! there are Ubuntu users out there! Phil found me and joined our ranks recently.
For this Saturday, I'd like to design the flyer, and write an article about Hardy Heron. (I submitted the opinion article to the arbiter, but I don't know if they'll publish it). Then we also need to plan our Release party, and get people invited to it.
Also the AITP group invited us to come to the computer repair fair, and they'll let us have some space in case we want to install ubuntu on anyone's computers. This could be a good leap into the spotlight! I think we should definitely do that.
Meeting this Saturday at 3 in the ILC. Call me if you can't get in, or find it. I hope to see all of you there.
