AFAIK,
1. I don't have dual monitors but I've read people setting up as much as upto 8 monitors. So, you can be sure sooner or later you will be working with dual monitors.
2. Getting Internet work inside your virtual OS shouldn't be a great problem. I got a new laptop recently and I don't have setup VirtualBox. I'm planning for this weekend. At that time I will let you know what might you have done wrong. Also, I'm also working on a way to login to a virtual OS directly from GDM session without logging into Gnome.
I'm not sure you gonna get full satisfaction playing games from a virtual OS. Graphic memory and RAM is shared between a host and a virtual OS so don't expect much out of your favorite games.
3. I'm Googling what those are.
4. Do you wan't screensaver just like the one I've had few months ago (here is the video )? or you wan't something that animates on your desktop? Or do you want something like this? It's called skydome which can be set from CompizConfig setting manager.
ps: Post all your questions in the forum section so that everyone can lend their helping suggestions. Also, I regularly post some useful Ubuntu tweaks on my blog quicktweaks.com. Don't forget to check it out.
