BoiseUbuntu

Started by students at Boise State

We seem to have collected a decent number of people lately, and I wanted to inquire about getting together and having some meetings over this lovely summer (granted if you are still in the Boise area).

We could still meet on Saturdays at 3pm as we did before, or plan a different time and date. I would love to meet everyone if we can make it happen. I would like some good suggestions for times, and we can see when we can get something going. I know the site has been rather inactive lately, but I blame that on finals.

Lets bring everything back to life and get started on making a suitable Ubuntu OS for delivery to the student masses.

Thanks,

Ryan

agreed. Finals was a busy time for me. Not to mention I was a little let down by the turn out for the social event. Hardy has been the worst ubuntu yet for me, but that probably means I need this group more than ever. And I miss Ashok's face so very much.

I can second the statement that Hardy has been pretty disappointing - primarily because it broke my wireless beyond repair - well, okay, it's fixed now, sort of. At least it doesn't hang the system at boot anymore. But my Broadcom wireless card doesn't work (again), and all my old tricks to make it work, don't. Disappointing.

Anyway, I know I've never been to one of the socials (I know, I'm a terrible hermit) but I like to think I'll make it someday.
